It's been three and a half years since The "farm of your desires" , in Saint-Martin-en-Campagne , opened its doors to consumers. If the beginnings were complicated, the founding partners have since found their marks. The store now has around sixty local, regional and French producers, and more than 200 references on the shelves.
To market its products in the store, farmers must agree to sign a charter defining a work ethic. Producers must also agree with the price logic of society. The price must be remunerative for the producer and fair for the consumer. It is also essential that the famer know his cost of production. The main challenge is not to underestimate the working time required.
